You can ask to be released from the Immigration Detention Centre by applying for bail.
You can apply for bail to, the Immigration Tribunal, you will need to complete a form known as B1, and will be given a date for your bail hearing to decide if you should be granted bail. The hearing will usually be done by video link, where you will be able to see the judge and vice versa. Your hearing date is usually a few days after your application is received by the court.
If you have been detained for 4 months or more, the Home Office will automatically refer you to the Immigration Tribunal for a bail hearing. The Home Office should make an application for bail on your behalf every 4 months, if you do not make an application yourself.
You can also ask the Home Office to grant you bail directly.
